Patriotism
American Earth believes that it is the duty of the American people and their government to protect the homeland, including its natural environment, and promote a healthy environment for its citizens. The US environment is a heritage held in trust for future generations. Their conservation is a patriotic duty.

Americans first
American Earth believes in limiting resources in our country first to Americans, especially those whose forefathers built this country and fought to protect its environment. That applies first to the right to live in the US.

Think globally. Act locally.
American Earth says protect America’s environment first. Our first priority is to protect the US environment. Thinking globally does not mean mindlessly submitting to the full globalist agenda. A healthy respect for other countries and cultures should make Americans more humble about what they can and should do for others. It is wasteful and harmful to repeatedly attempt the impossible elsewhere when so much is possible in our own country.

Self-reliance
American Earth believes American independence means seeking self-sufficiency in energy, materials and technology that makes our country more efficient, sustainable, resilient and self-reliant.

Sovereignty
American Earth respects and preserves the sovereignty of all levels of popularly elected government in the US. The US should engage internationally when appropriate, but reject trade agreements that empower large corporations and concentrated wealth to disregard the sovereignty of US governments at all levels.

Freedom and populism
American Earth believes in preserving whenever possible the basic freedoms of Americans to travel, make a living, build their homes, and pursue happiness. When environmental protection imposes limits and requires sacrifices, and it will, those should apply to the elites as well as average citizens. Elites cannot ask sacrifices for the environment that they are unwilling to make themselves.

Celebrate our roots and heroes
American Earth champions an environmentalism that embraces its history and celebrates its heroes. Those leaders did the best they could against tough odds. Like us, they were creatures of their time in history. We judge them by the standards of their times, not ours.

God blessed America
American Earth thanks God for blessing America with an extraordinary variety of beautiful and productive lands, waters, and wildlife. American Earth thanks God for blessing America with citizens who are environmentally conscious and love their country. It is the sacred duty of those citizens to protect what God has given.
